Always Be Thankful ©

Luke 22:28-29; Rom. 5:3-5; 8:17,28;

Hebrews 2:10; James 1:12; I Peter 4:12-13

 

(Chorus) Always be thankful for what we must bear,

   For we serve a God Who will always care!

   Build character and vision with eyes to see,

   That we’re being prepared for what we will be!

(@ end) Our salvation is made perfect through suffering.

 

1st:  We know in everything God works for the good,

For those who love Him and called to His purpose.

We’re children of God and heirs with Christ.

If we share in His suff-ring, we’ll share His glory!

 

2nd:  Expect to have trials that come-to-prove-us.

Nothing-strange-is-happening, so we are to rejoice!

When sharing Christ’s suff-ring, we’ll rejoice when He returns.  If continuing with Him we’ll be-in-the Kingdom!

 

3rd:  Suff-ring brings endurance which creates character,

And leads to the hope that doesn’t disappoint.

We’re blessed enduring trials, and when we stand the test,

the crown of life is promised to those who love God!
