Who Is My Jesus? ©

   He does a lot for us as the God of love!
   My Jesus is my very best Friend,
   Whom I love with my whole heart!

1st:  Whatever we’re facing, He knows how we feel.  He walked as a Man so He would know!  He was tempted of all things in His Life, from His wounds His precious blood would flow!  He was hungry enough to eat raw grain, distraught enough in public to weep, fun- loving enough to be called a drunkard, loyal to His Father, His Word He would keep!

2nd:  He was winsome enough to attract children, weary to sleep in a bouncing boat, responsible enough to care for His Mother, allowing God’s Word to keep Him afloat!  Radical enough to get kicked out of town, faithful enough to feed a crowd, fearful enough to sweat sweet blood, Jesus not once was ever so proud!

3rd:  He is our perfect example to follow, dependent only on God above, never exalting Himself above others, extremely merciful out of love!  He was crucified for you and for me; what He suffered we cannot know!  Out of gratitude and utmost love, obedience to God from our hearts should flow!

4th:  If to our sins, we want His Blood applied, we must change our ways and repent!  Forgiveness and mercy are waiting for us.  A great act of God was when His Son was sent!  So --- Who is our Jesus, yours and mine?  He’s our Lord, God, and Savior divine!  One day soon, we’ll meet face-to-face.  He’ll wrap His arms around us and say, “You’re Mine!”
