Image of Love in Marriage ©

Hebrews 13:4

(Chorus) The two of us come before God …
   To unite in marriage as one.
   We’re happy as all can see …
   The way God meant it to be!
  And following God’s call, we come
  to the conclusion, that images of love are
  not just an illusion!

1st:  God has shown in my mind’s eye, the picture of romance.  It is the image of love, and I will take a chance. God has placed in my heart --- the image of one man. And it is to him, whom I freely give my hand.
Our lives are woven together, we pray in our Lord’s hand. Each one free to choose, if we’ll follow God’s command.  So picture in your mind, the image of a man --- seeking for himself to follow God’s plan.

2nd:  Add woman to that picture, and the two become one. The image of love, and the way it all begun.  The image of a man, strong forceful and leading.  Showing his wife his gentle ways, to keep her desires from fleeing.  The image of a woman, humble meek and loving.  Strong to stand on her own, tho always desiring her husband.  It takes three to make them one, placing Christ as the head.  The man and woman on their knees, willing to be lead.
