1st:  I was walking on the beach with my Lord.  Scenes of my life flashed across the sky.  Two sets of footprints were in every scene, belonging both to me and to my Lord.

​

2nd:  When the last scene of my life was shown, I looked back at the footprints in the sand.  There was only one set of footprints there, at the very lowest times of my life.

​

3rd:  In the most troubled times of my life, it seemed my Lord had left me all alone.  He had told me when I chose to follow Him that He would walk and talk with me always.

​

4th:  When I told my Lord I didn’t comprehend, He assured me that He would never leave.  It was in those times of trial and distress, when He carried me and helped me on the way.
