1st: We’ve had our disagreements; we’ve had our ups and downs. It was a disappointment when we lived in different towns. I tried so hard to please her, but it wasn’t meant to be. Up until the day she died, I hoped for differently.
​
2nd: She didn’t understand when I moved away, nor when I quit saying, “Happy holidays.” She disliked my religion, and how I raised my young. It goes on and on from there; for her it wasn’t enough.
​
3rd: But all through these years, there was Matthew chapter 10. It foretells family troubles – it’s just a matter of when. But the Bible keeps me going ‘cause it says in the end – we will be victorious, and can help our family then!
