I John 3:2

(Chorus) Dear friends, we are children of God!
   What we’ll be has not yet been made known.
   But we know that when the Lord appears,
   We’ll be like Him and see Him as He is!

1st:  What a glorious day it will be, when the face of Jesus we will see!  Celebrated, worshipped on bended knee, what an awesome day that will be!  There’ll come a day when Jesus takes our hand.  We’ll talk as we walk through the Promised Land.  Today and always on His Word we’ll stand, awaiting that day we’ll walk hand in hand!

2nd:  With joy and awe we will behold, with open arms into the Kingdom’s fold!  Answers to questions in life will be told, while meeting brethren from days of old!  Speaking with Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jeremiah we’re sure to come upon!  Answers to all on our minds and beyond.  Not again lied to, deceived, or conned!

3rd:  Our eyes will never shed another tear, our minds and souls will not again fear!  Our Father’s Voice we are surely to hear.  Pray each day for that day to be near!  Continue to do what the Scriptures say, love His commandments we are to obey.  This world we live in, it’s easy to stray.  Continue daily to do it God’s way!
